testing out new pattern

A little while ago, I downloaded this bag pattern. I liked that it had a different shape to most of the other bags I make. I used some of the Amy Butler fabric that I purchased and lined it from an op shop find. The pattern calls for wooden or plastic handles, but I was too cheap to buy $19 handles, so I used some really sturdy webbing instead. While I like the overall look of the bag, the bottom square is much bigger than I expected. So I am going to fiddle around with the pattern to make the bottom a little narrower. I'll post when I do that, could be a while, don't wait around!
