Day trip

Yesterday we had a lovely day out at Seaworld. Caty was keen to try out some fast rides, thank goodness Deb was there to go with her! I went on the 'tame' rides with Ty and Em.
It was a gorgeous day, not too cold and not too hot. When we finally got the children away from the rides, we got to see some of the animals. We stroked the starfish, touched the sea cucumbers, which are surprisingly soft and squishy, and went downstairs to see all the action under the water. The divers were in the cage feeding the sharks, which was Tylers favourite. This fish was Caty's favourite and I absolutely fell in love with the polar bears. What a life they have, chilling out in the water, playing and swimming. Their fur waved in the water and they were so graceful. I could have stayed and watched them for ages, but the kids wanted to get back to the rides.
We spent the whole day moving, but we missed the dolphin show so that was a bit sad. We did get to see them working with their trainers though.

We got there at opening time and left at closing time. We didn't get home to 7 p.m. so I was well and truly ready for wine'o'clock!

The children even slept in to 8 am this morning, which is unheard of in this house!!
