With everything so organised on the school front, not having to move rooms and start from scratch makes a big difference, I decided to get onto a couple more projects that have been on my to do list.
One of the books I bought at Dymocks had these gorgeous little strawberries, how could I resist them? So here's mine, I'll dab some strawberries scent on it and put it in my cupboard.
My other project was to make a business card holder for all of those cards you seem to collect, my new wallet was too small for them all, so I needed something to put them in.

A couple of little stuff ups on the prototype but nothing a well placed flower won't fix. Now I'll have to make a new bag to match it, oh noooo!

The name I've chosen for my business name is Ruby Berry because that is my Grandma's maiden name. My Grandpa and Grandma lived in Thornlands on a farm and strawberries were one of the areas crops. My Grandma was always doing some sort of craft and always sewed all of her children's clothes and won all the cooking prizes at the local shows. We lived with my grandparents for about 5 years when my parents split and my Grandma and I didn't get on all that well. Looking back I guess we are similar and that is why. When I was older, we came to have a lovely relationship, which I treasure. I miss her cheeky smile and twinkling eyes.
You are so clever! Hope your first week has gone smoothly! I am loving prep! Also, I LOVE my new handbag!!! Thanks so much!! xxx
