Beach babe

Last Friday, Mum and I jumped on wotif and found a unit in Mooloolaba and off we went.We drove up through Maleny, Montville and Mapelton and enjoyed browsing through the shops. We had an absolutely delicious lunch overlooking the coast with no children!

I really needed a few days rest and relaxation ( read time away from the kids) before I went into mega meltdown.

Mum and i really had a lovely time shopping, eating and walking along the water.

The kids and I went to Scarborough Beach yesterday to escape the forecasted heat. We set up under one of the huge trees and the kids had a blast on the trees, which are open again after being closed to fix damage after a storm, at the playground, swimming in the ocean and riding their scooters along the pathways. It was lovely and cool with a beautiful sea breeze the whole time we were there.

It was spooky to see that Deb and I both signed on to madeit.com at roughly the same time as each other, without knowing it. My label is Ruby Berry, named after my Mum's mum, who was always very crafty, sewed all of her children's clothes and was a champion cook.
