One of my favourite traditions about our Christmas tree, is the gorgeous handmade decorations that fill it.They remind me of people and places and the moment in time when I received them.(I still have decorations from over 20 yrs ago, from a year 2 girl, Holly).
This year we've had a bumper crop of new treasures for our tree.
Tyler made this adorable little elf at school, unfortunately he lost some of one of his arms in a terrible school bag incident!
He also started a sequin bauble which is also hung with love.

Caty made this gorgeous birdie at school with the lovely Deb in their sewing club. She made another at home from the pattern.
She was on a roll then, so a whole range of loveliness was made for the tree.
This was started at school and finished at home. Of course a couple were made from her beading supplies as well.
Just gorgeous!

Soooo sweet! Your tree is just lovely. (Nice to hear from you, by the way.) Hope the Christmas preparations are going well at your house. xx
