Some Sewing

When Deb came home from her travels a couple of months ago, she showed me one of the beautiful bags she bought at a market.

Just divine.

I did a quick sketch and some measurements there and then, so I could have a go at making one. It took me a while, but I finally got to thinking more about the bag and the mechanics of making it.

I drew a 3-D sketch and made lots of notes alongside to remind me of important 

things to do.      

Here are my notes, though I have made some changes to the measurements after making some.

              

Here's an example of one of the bags I made following the 'pattern notes' above.  There a stacks of large pockets, perfect for a day out with the family.
