Bowling

Today we went bowling with a few of Ty's mates and some of his cousins for his upcoming birthday. Tell you what, it beats having it at home. They had a great time, but struggled to get the "Wii" mode off and the real bowling back.

I had a rather large cake disaster this morning, instead of baking the cake, I grilled it! I wondered why it didn't rise much. It was only when I went to turn off the oven that I discovered my mistake, would explain the singed top too. So down to Woolies to buy a slab, but when I got there, there was none. A tray of lamingtons beckoned me, my brain went tick, tick, tick and off I went to get green food colouring, chikito bars and a toy motorbike to create his cake.

He loved it, which was great because it was a bit dodgy, but having the lamingtons meant no cutting the cake, which was good.
