A couple of weeks ago, I was a very cranky, frustrated lady. Lots of changes in my workplace had been stressing me out. I'm usually a very 'bright side of life' person, but I just wasn't feeling it. People were noticing. Luckily for everyone, a had a couple of days off and my family went up to Hervey Bay for a few days. We lived there over 20 years ago and wanted to show the kids where we lived and worked. A lot had changed.
There is an awesome new water park on the foreshore at Pialba, which is free, yes I said FREE! Our first afternoon was spent squishing around in the water.
When we drove passed our old house a poinciana tree which I planted way back then, was now a gorgeous huge tree, with seating under it. I was so happy and excited to see it ( odd I know )
it's one of my dreams to live on a property with huge trees.
Sounds like it was just what you needed Honey. That water park is fab, isn't it? The boys love to go there when we visit Grandma (maybe even more than visiting Grandma!).
