And She's Back.........

It's taken a while and it feels great to be back creating lovely new items. It didn't start with the new two zip bag, it was a new pattern and they can be tiresome. But here is the bag in progress, I'm really loving all the fabric together.

I just need to make up the lining for it and then it will be done. I've been using a bag lately that I have to hold which has been annoying. Looking forward to hanging over my shoulder and freeing my hands up.

This skirt below is how I started. I found a simple pattern in an op shop for 90c in Hervey Bay, so off I went home and cut into a fabric I've been hoarding ready for the right skirt. As I was cutting it out, I decided to give it to a wonderful lady at school who always comments on my skirts. She does amazing things at the school and I want to say thanks.

I've since cut out three more of these skirts to sew up. The pattern is super easy and they don't take too long to make. Having the automatic button hole maker is bliss! Think I'll make up a selection to sell at our next market (whenever that will be).
