Been crazy busy the past couple of weeks. At work we have had Under Eights Day, 3 sports carnivals, Raw Art and an excursion to a local farm. Throw in repairs to my sewing machine, going for Sunday drives ( and finding a gorgeous 10 acre block), meetings with others in the afternoons and trying out a new pattern, all saw me super duper busy.
This is the cute little bag I made for one of the other stall holders at Mamma's Markets, to hold her money in. It is from my new book, You Sew Girl, Nicole Mallalieu, gives you fabulous tips to make your items look professionally finished. She has worked in the trade for a long time and shares all of her knowledge.
Unfortunately, we went for a drive and found this block of land. We have wanted to move for a while, but after we lost the last block at the last moment, we decided to stay put for a while longer. We love this block and decided to put in an offer and then.........the stock market crashes! Great NOT!
Looks like we could be living in a caravan! (only slightly exaggerating!)
I guess we'll have to wait and see what the fate of the Gods and the stock markets will do. But look at the mountains in the background, the beautiful trees, the gorgeous views and still only 10 mins to a shopping centre, plus everything else you could need. Sigh...........
