Clothes for Caty

As soon as Caty saw this fabric, she wanted me to make something for her.  I used some free patterns form oliver+s.  The ruffled Halter you can download from interweavestitch.com. we decided to leave out the middle layer, because we wanted to see the demim.

The skirt  is the Lazy Days Skirt also from oliver + s.

From one of the scraps I also made some headgear.  She went off happily today, telling everyone that I made this for her.  Hope she wears it more than once!  She has also chosen a cute birdie print that I am going to make a pillowcase style dress for her.  But before that, I am going to have a go at making a hat.  I found this old sewing projects book at an op shop and there is a pattern and instructions to make one.  Wish me luck!


On another note, Tyler piped up in the car this afternoon and said, "Mum, if everyone in the world gets out their fans, we could blow away this rain." Good idea I say......
