Saturday

Yesterday I got up and had my coffee, put on some washing and checked out the e-mails, blogs.   I had been promising to make gingerbread men for the kids, so I finally got to it.  Tyler spent the whole time worrying that they would run away, so he kept a very close eye on them.

Paula and rowan came and had some morning tea and a play.  Unfortunately Miss 9 and Master 5 were not very able to get along so I spent most of the day with them whining, dobbing and yelling. Which drove me insane!

Paula and I had an interval of what Paula described as "Fabric Porn"  as we checked out some gorgeous materials that we were just drooling over.
After Paula and Rowan went home, more bickering, yelling, dobbing some wine for lunch ( oops with lunch) now I'm lying, Geoff finally came home.

I'd had enough by now, Geoff took Caty for a while while Ty and I chilled out.  After a calm down, I needed something nice to do, been inspired by my blog travels to make a hobo bag.  Off to Spotlight for a few bits and pieces and I was ready to go.  When we got home, Caty had a temp of 39.7  so Panadol for her, and trying to get her to rest.

I got to cut out my bag at about 4 p.m. and then I was off!  Loved it from the start.  Take away fried rice for dinner, hot shower and into my jammies.
Tyler joined me to play a game on the computer and Caty curled up on the couch to watch the Princess Diaries.

Finally my beautiful bag was finished at 10:30p.m. (While watching Harry Potter of course.)  Love it.  What a nice way to end my day..............

  1. I totally understand whinging children driving you crazy!!! Liam and Daniel haven't stoped today so they were sent to bed early and it has been bliss every since. I love the photo of the gingerbread men in the oven. I'd watch them too, Tyler! The only place they would be running is into my mouth - I love Gingerbread men (hint, hint!)
