Tyler celebrated his 5 th birthday on Thursday, which he was very excited about.

I saw this idea on one of the many blogs I read and I thought I'd give it a go. Debbie gave Tyler some PJs for his birthday which had some plastic packaging that was perfect. Using some scraps I had and looking how my pencil roll, that Deb made me, works, I was off.
First I measured the games, to make certain they were a snug fit. I then sewed down to make the pockets.
Next I used my Stampin Up punch to make the cut outs at the top for ease of removal. This was then sewn onto the patterned material.
Then I sewed the two pieces of material, right sides together, leaving the bottom open. Don't forget to put the ribbon inside the 2 pieces before sewing, so they will be right for tying.

Press the edges flat and turn under the bottom, press and pin for sewing. Sew around the edge to finish off.
Wallah!!!
Tyler had his first AFL experience this morning and he had a fabulous time learning how to drop punt (kick)
with Mum, who must wear joggers next time not thongs.
